Hollow Shell
Inside Emerald's dome, everything is shining, clean, and perfected. But is it real?
Decades ago, the richest cities sequestered themselves under antiseptic domes. Shell–a punkish, connected streamer living inside–broadcasts their drone raids against wild, sylvan Bionts populating new forests sprouting up through the influence of a vast superconsciousness.
When Bionts shatter a dome during a promotional vacation, Shell's screens disappear. But as other captives begin to die from exposure, Shell lives. For the first time, a "Hollow" from the megacities might survive being outside–if they can cross the dangerous, forgotten landscape.
Hollow Shell is the first volume in a new Sci-Fi series. If you liked Neuromancer, City of Illusions, or Day of the Triffids, pick up the first installment in Jesse Leighton's new series.
